Occupational therapy (OT) is a client-centered health profession that helps people across all ages overcome physical, cognitive, or mental health challenges to perform daily activities ("occupations") they need and want to do. It enables people to live as independently as possible through practical, customized plans, such as modifying tasks or environments. (Royal College of Occupational Therapists).
